This year, I committed to something transformative:
365 days of intentional rest.
Every day at 2 p.m., I meet myself for a Yoga Nidra (Yogic Sleep) practice.
For someone like me - whose nervous system runs hot and who’s endlessly ambitious - this practice has become my anchor. Four years ago, I turned to Yoga Nidra during a difficult season of depression. It became my lifeline, my path back to balance. Today, it’s the rhythm that sustains me.
This tiny daily pause is the moment I repair my nervous system.
I drop out of the wired, go-go-go pace of the day and return home to myself.
Why does this matter?
Because your nervous system is the foundation of your well-being. When it’s nourished, everything flows more smoothly: your creativity, your relationships, your work, your energy.
I see this shift again and again in the women I work with. When rest becomes a rhythm instead of a reward, they thrive. They accomplish more with less force. They come alive again.
